We are thrilled to share impressions of our workshop under our brand-new project, IRAC, hosted at the prestigious Anasoft Litera in Bratislava. Supported by Creative Europe, this workshop marks the exciting first phase of an international creative-research collaboration aimed at transforming timeless stories for young readers.
Our Slovak team features Eva Ilievsky, an experienced organiser of prestigious literature events such as the Author’s Reading Month (Mesiac autorského čítania) and the BRaK Bratislava Book Festival, alongside emerging researcher Michal Chudý, a PhD student at the Institute of Philosophy, Slovak Academy of Sciences. Aija Sakova, Estonian literary scholar, Simona Prokopec Fochlerová, director of the Anasoft Litera Award, and students from the Jur Hronec Gymnasium joined us with their amazing energy, sharp insights, and invaluable input.
Workshops at Anasoft Litera in Bratislava, at the Tallinn University, and at IFF Zlin were just the beginning of this journey. Further workshops are planned at the Literarisches Colloquium Berlin and at Gobelins Paris.
